Eligibility

NEET Eligibility Criteria: The National Testing Agency (NTA), which administers the NEET UG exam, determines a set of eligibility criteria. NEET UG is an entrance exam for medical students wishing to enroll in India's MBBS and BDS programs. It takes place once a year. Before applying for NEET 2021, candidates must ensure that they meet the NEET eligibility criteria, which may include educational requirements, age limits, and reservation criteria. To be qualified for the exam, candidates must have passed the 12th grade exam with Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English as subjects.

Ø  Must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2021
Ø  Maximum age 25 years with 5 years relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD

Percentage of marks in 12th Class

Ø  UR - 50%

Ø  OBC/SC/ST - 40%

Ø  PWD - 45%

Number of Attempts

There are no limits to how many times you can try.

Ø  NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are eligible

 
NOTE: Candidates beyond the age of 25 are permitted to sit for the examination on a provisional basis, but their admittance is contingent on the Supreme Court's decision.
